How much does a small business website cost?

The cost of a small business website depends mostly on how many pages it has and what it needs to do. At Northframe, Presence is $199 (Founding Client Pricing, regularly $349) for up to 3 pages, and Business is $349 (Founding Client Pricing, regularly $499) for up to 5 pages. Both are one-time prices.

What drives the price

  • Number of pages, and how different each one is. What pages a small business website needs helps you keep the list short.
  • Features: contact forms, galleries, booking links, integrations with other services.
  • Content: whether text and photos are ready or still need to be written and gathered.
  • Custom functionality such as accounts, databases, or payments, which is closer to building an application.
  • Rounds of revisions.

Northframe's packages

Every package includes custom visual design, responsive layout, domain setup help, deployment. Custom projects (authentication, databases, dashboards, payments and similar) are quoted by scope.

  • Launch is $49 (student pricing, regularly $99): up to 1 page, 1 revision round. Best for student portfolios and resumes.
  • Presence is $199 (Founding Client Pricing, regularly $349): up to 3 pages, 2 revision rounds. Best for creators and professionals.
  • Business is $349 (Founding Client Pricing, regularly $499): up to 5 pages, 3 revision rounds. Best for organizations and businesses.

Ongoing costs

A site also has running costs paid to other providers: the domain renewal every year, and hosting or email plans if the site needs paid ones. Domain registration and paid third-party services, like premium hosting or email plans, are billed separately where required. Running a website without a monthly fee explains which of these you actually need.

How to keep the cost down

  • Start with the pages visitors actually need, and add more later.
  • Have your text and photos ready before design starts.
  • Agree the page list and features in writing before work begins.
  • Leave logins and payments for a later phase unless the business depends on them.

Common questions

Are there monthly fees?

Not from Northframe. The package price is one-time. Third-party services such as the domain registrar or a paid email plan bill you directly. A website builder works the other way: a plan paid for as long as the site is online.

What if I need more than the package includes?

If a request goes beyond your package, the price is updated and you approve it before work continues.
